The Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring the 11th Annual Memory Magic Scrapbook event at the Oak Ridge Civic Center on September 30 & October 1, 2016. The event will include vendors, classes, a crop area, prize drawings and snacks. A food truck will be provided for meals at an additional cost. Online registration will open August 22 and close on September 28. Walk-in registration will begin at 8 a.m. on September 30, 2016.
The crop area will be open to registered participants only. Cropping will begin at 8 a.m. each morning and close at 11:00 p.m. both evenings. Participants will receive a crop space, an event tote with water bottle, light snacks and tickets for prize drawings. The cost to crop is $30 for one day or $50 for both days.
Vendors will open for business by 9:00 a.m. each morning. Vendors include home party businesses, scrapbook stores and general craft stores located from all over the region. The vendor area is open to the general public for shopping 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The vendor area is open to paid participants only after 6:00 p.m.
Classes will be offered on Friday and Saturday. Class fees and themes are determined by individual instructors. Please visit our website for more class information.
