Registration for the 2020 Summer Camp sponsored by the Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department will begin on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Online registration will be available at: https://apm.activecommunities.com/oakridgerecandparks/Home
Space is limited and the camp will fill up quickly. Early registration is recommended. Online registration will be available 24/7 beginning at 8 a.m. April 15. Walk-in registration for cash or check payment will be available during regular Civic Center hours (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.) once the Civic Center re-opens to the public (Civic Center is currently closed to visitors). A mail-in registration will also be available during this time. Please call 865-425-3450 to inquire about mail-in registration. Walk-in or mail-in registrants should complete an online profile/account before coming in to register. The staff will complete the registration at the front desk.
The first session of camp will begin on June 1 and run for 8 consecutive weeks, Monday through Friday. There will be no camp on Friday, July 3. Campers must be six to eleven years of age or have completed Kindergarten. Teen Camp campers must be ages twelve to fourteen years old to participate.
The camp fee is $100 per week for residents and $105 per week for non-residents. The fee covers field trip admission, transportation, special events, daily snacks and a camp tee shirt. Additional shirts are available for purchase
Early drop off begins at 7:30 a.m. and late pick up is 5:30 p.m. Daily camp activities and special events will take place at the Oak Ridge Civic Center, Bissell Park and the outdoor Municipal Pool. Field trips will include Tinseltown, Cedar Hill Park, Main Event, Knoxville Zoo, Tri-County Roll Arena, WonderWorks, Kentucky Splash Water Park and Cool Sports.
