Exercise for Fitness
This class will help you to look and feel better as well as give you more energy. Exercise for fitness is an instructional exercise class which meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Each class includes stretching, toning, and cardiovascular exercise. Variety is the key to the success of this popular class. Steps, slides, weights, gym balls, stretch bands, and dance are all used to help each participant reach his/her fitness goals. Classes meet year round. Fees are $28.00 per month or $5 per class (non-resident fee $20.00 one time per fiscal year). Register at the Civic Center Information Desk. Scrapbooking
The City of Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring a monthly crop opportunity for area scrapbookers. One Friday and/or Saturday each month is set aside for cropping from 8 am to 10 pm. Cost to participate is $5 per day. Croppers must be out of the room by 10 pm each evening. A refrigerator, microwave, sink and stove are available for use. A vending area is located in the building. Space is limited and is assigned on a first come basis. Reservations can be made by calling the Civic Center information desk at 425-3450. 2012 monthly crop dates are as follows:
