DOE reopens Clark Center Park

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (May 5, 2020) – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) reopened Clark Center Park located on the DOE federal Oak Ridge Reservation in Oak Ridge on May 1.

In support of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s April 2 Safe at Home Executive Order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Energy closed Clark Center Park on April 4.  The closure remained in effect since that time.  

After the re-opening on May 1, the restrooms, ball fields, playground, and pavilion area will remain closed for a while longer to facilitate continued social distancing.

The park is located at 2000 Bull Bluff Road in Oak Ridge.  Operating hours for the front gate at the main entrance are 5 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily.
