Summer Camp

Camp Information


Open to children between the ages of 6 and 15.

The camp fee is $120 per week for each child. The fee covers field trip admission, transportation, special events, daily snacks, and a camp t-shirt. Additional shirts are available for purchase.

Early drop-off begins at 7:30 am and late pick-up ends at 5:30 pm. Daily camp activities and special events will take place at the Oak Ridge Recreation Center, A.K. Bissell Park, and the outdoor Municipal Pool. At this time, field trips will include Cinemark Tinseltown Movie Theater, Cedar Hill Park, Main Event, Bowling, Tri-County Roll Arena, the Little Ponderosa Zoo, MagiQuest, Lumberjack Feud, American Museum of Science and Energy, Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge, Muse of Knoxville, & The Knoxville Zoo.

Camp Fees

$120 / week (+standard online fees)

Dates and Times


 The hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and must be picked up no later than 5:00 p.m.

Registration


Camp registration began on April 1st. Those wishing to complete their registration by cash or check must do so at the Recreation Center front desk.  You should set up a Recreation and Parks account online first to streamline the process.
