Exercise for Fitness
This class will help you to look and feel healthier. Exercise for Fitness is an adult exercise class that meets at the Oak Ridge Civic Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 9 – 10:30 am. This well balanced program offers exercise routines that include stretching, toning, Pilates and aerobics. The instructor incorporates the use of a variety of equipment including fitness balls, hand weights, steps, stretch bands and hoops to provide a comprehensive workout for each participant. Classes meet year round. Fees are $31 per month or $5 per class. An annual non-resident fee of $20 per year is charged where applicable.
Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. Join us on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6 pm for an hour-long workout party. Fees are $5 per class, or you may purchase a punch card for 6 classes for $20. Click here to print out a release form to have signed and ready to turn in at your first class.
The current Zumba Class will end December 18th. Those with punch cards can turn them in at the Civic Center front desk until January 15th for a refund of the unused punches.
*There will be NO CLASS on December 23rd, 25th, 30th or January 1st
Crop days are scheduled at the Civic Center for area scrapbookers to work on their projects. Cost to participate is $5 per day. Croppers must be out of the room by 9:30 pm each evening. Space is limited and is assigned on a first come basis. Civic Center information desk at 425-3450 for dates and times.
